After our first lecture in CPH class we were asked to "read" about the Philippine History of Public Health, and our instructor will pick one student who will present the topic in the class. I saw that my teacher was using a nursing book and fortunately my sister has the same book. The two books of my sister and Wikipedia were my references, a lot of reading but I finished it. I was a little bit confident for the next meeting. I had everything scanned. Then the day came, my classmates had outputs copied from internet. Dang, I got nervous because I was actually thinking that we are only going to study it. My beloved friend, Gwen, happen to be bounded on the same situation. We defended ourselves by saying that our instructor said "read" the history. So confidence came back again. After some few lectures, she asked for the hard copy of the assignment. *Scary sound effects here* Then we explained ourselves, then she said she'll accept it until next week. But then she changed her mind, we are going to make my classmates' written outputs as our reference for OUR REPORT. But the work is not that heavy just a lot. Hoping for a lot of confidence for me, Gwen and Naj. :)
And another major subject, Biochemistry, even though it would be our third class under Engr. Ambe I just can't stop getting nervous. The first meeting of the day was fine, but later in the afternoon, we had again experienced how hell tastes like. And once again, I was second-guessing myself. Why did I pass Organic Chemistry and General Chemistry when I can't even explain what Hydrogen-bonding is? Answers were pictured in my mind, it's just so hard to put them in words. Geez, she really knows how to use her claws. :|
That was my first week. It's raining today and I'm hoping to see the rainbow tomorrow, my first school day of the week.
